1 lg can pumpkin (29 oz)
1 c brown sugar, packed
1 lg can evaporated milk (12 oz)
3 eggs
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 yellow cake mix (pillsbury pudding in the mix)
1.5 sticks butter
1 c nuts
mix together first set of ingredients. pour into greased 9x13 pan. then sprinkle cake mix over mixture. melt butter. drizzle over cake mix. bake at 350 for 1 hour. last 10 minutes, sprinkle nuts over it.

lilli's apple butter
7 cups unsweetened applesauce
2 cups apple cider
1 1/2 cups honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. all spice
combine all ingredients in slow cooker, mix well with whisk. cook on low 14-15 hours.
makes 2 pints.

diane's chili...hands down, the BEST
1 lb. ground beef
garlic powder
salt/pepper
green peppers
onions
1/2 package william's chili seasoning
1 can chopped tomatoes
1-2 cans tomato sauce
1 can kidney beans
1 can red beans
1 can chili beans
cook beef and spices. drain. add remaining ingredients. let simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour. top with chili/cheese fritos, sour cream, shredded cheese and green onions. serve with cornbread and sweet butter.

diane's waldorf salad
2-3 apples, chopped into bite size pieces (Jonathon or delicious)
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 - 1.5 stalk celery, chopped
1 cup grapes or raisins
1 cup fat free cool whip
put all ingredients in bowl. mix. chill. serve.
